Indication : The indication of the MOOVCARE® Lung device is the early detection of relapses or complications for  patients over 18 years of age with non-progressive lung cancer after the last medical treatment regardless of histologic  type of the tumor.  

 

Intended purpose : MOOVCARE® Lung software is intended to provide information to physicians and their medical  teams (assistant and nurses) for the early diagnosis of relapses or complications of non-progressive lung cancer in  adults by sending alerts based on clinical symptoms reported by the patient through a weekly questionnaire. This  medical device can be used at home or in healthcare facilities with an access to internet available through a  computer, tablettable or smartphone.  

 

Target patient population : Intended patients is composed of adults (over 18 years old) treated for lung cancer non progressive post-evaluation of the last treatment, who have access to internet through  computer browser, smartphone or tablet or may be supported by relatives to complete the questionnaire.

MOOVCARE® Lung includes an eligibility test according to the patient’s symptomatic state before being able to use  MOOVCARE® Lung. Only patients possessing an initial symptom score less than or equal to 6 (Specific scale: assessment  of the importance of 5 symptoms) will be able to use MOOVCARE® Lung.

 

Clinical Claims : MOOVCARE ® Lung allows the monitoring of lung cancer patients for the early detection of relapses  or complications. This monitoring is associated with an improved overall survival and an improvement of the quality  of life.
