Moovcare® clearly brings me security and peace of mind. I know that every Monday at 10 AM I will receive my questionnaire and be able to respond. I feel that the questionnaire covers all the symptoms I might experience. Moovcare is a very, very reassuring presence.

I was diagnosed a little over a year ago.

In December 2019, I went to the doctor as usual, as I was being monitored for a simple blood pressure treatment. I mentioned that I had noticed a whistling sound at the end of each breath when inhaling. The doctor told me there was nothing to worry about. He still gave me a prescription for a CT scan, but I didn't do it right away because I was about to go on vacation and thought I'd get it done when I returned.

When I got back, I went to see my doctor again for my blood pressure treatment and he asked me if I had done the scan.

So I decided to go ahead with it, but at the time it was very complicated to get an appointment because of the Covid-19 situation. I was told it wasn't urgent. I went back to the doctor who gave me a new prescription. It was during that CT scan that they broke the bad news: I had a lung tumor.

Of course, we were very worried. Once again, it was very difficult to get an appointment with the doctor, but I was lucky to have a daughter who works in the medical field. I was able to get a teleconsultation with the doctor, to whom I showed the scan images. He then referred me to the Institut Montsouris.

All the medical staff were wonderful — I was truly impressed by the kindness of the team.

But I was so worried that I quickly went to my GP to ask for tranquilizers. From that point on, I was moderately anxious, despite the severity of the illness. It's like getting on a steamroller and having to ride it through. [...]

Moovcare® has now become a very important complement in managing my illness.

If I had to share one story about Moovcare®, it would be the time I had a blood-related issue. I reported the problem in the morning, and that very afternoon, the medical team called me! J’ai été diagnostiqué en 2009, lorsque j’ai remarqué une boule sur mon épaule dans le miroir.
Au début, mon médecin m’a dit que ce n’était rien. Plusieurs tests (radiographies pulmonaires, tomodensitogrammes) ont suivi et on m’a finalement diagnostiqué un cancer du poumon.
J’ai eu la chance d’avoir un oncologue très ouvert qui m’a mis dans un protocole d’essai. J’ai bien réagi à la première cure de chimiothérapie. J’avais des métastases cérébrales et un cancer dans le poumon droit. Tout a régressé, j’ai continué à bénéficier d’un traitement pendant 9 ans qui a bien fonctionné. J’ai ensuite eu plusieurs rechutes. De 2009 à 2020 j’étais en traitement continu.
Cette maladie a évidemment eu un impact sur les gens autour de moi, mes proches ont été très touchés. Ils étaient aussi un très gros soutien, et même un objectif pour survivre. On se dit qu’on va se battre pour eux !
Actuellement, la maladie est sous contrôle. L’année dernière, j’ai eu plusieurs séances de radiothérapie stéréotaxique, et jusqu’à présent, tout est sous contrôle.
Je sais que grâce à Moovcare® si j’ai des symptômes, il y aura une réaction immédiate.

Mes proches trouvent Moovcare® très utile et ils pensent qu’il faut l’étendre à d’autres pathologies. C’est tres rassurant de savoir qu’il y aura une réaction à la moindre alerte.

J’aimerais vraiment dire aux autres patients que rien n’est jamais perdu. Ne perdez pas espoir, c’est sûr qu’il y aura des mauvais moments, mais il faut y croire !

I think Moovcare® is an excellent application, very easy to use. [...] I was diagnosed in March 2020. I live in a small village in the Ariège region, where a very renowned Professor happens to live. When he saw me, he noticed that my cough wasn't normal. So I had a CT scan. It turned out to be an inoperable 6 cm cancer. He sent me to see another professor in Toulouse to see if surgery was still possible. But this professor also explained that surgery wasn't an option — that if I went through with it, there was a one-in-a-hundred chance it would work. So I thought about it, and eventually accepted a treatment plan with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and so on. I was classified as VPR: very good patient remission.

I've been very well followed by the medical teams I've seen so far. What I've noticed with Moovcare® is that it's a very stable tool, which reassures me greatly. It's very clear and fast. It's also extremely punctual: every Monday at exactly 10 AM, I receive my SMS to fill in the questionnaire.

I have a fairly strong mindset — I'm a very positive person in life, and I was the same way when facing my cancer. The doctors even told me that 50% of my recovery was due to my state of mind. I'm currently in remission. My dream now is to visit cancer centers across France and beyond to share my story.

Once, I indicated in a questionnaire that I was feeling something unusual in my lung when breathing, and the Moovcare® app immediately told me to contact my doctor. Which I did. Fortunately it was nothing, but I felt reassured!
